On To Glory, 8x8 Watercolor by June Rollins
On To Glory is #8 in the All About Iris Series. Inspired by the reblooming beared iris I planted last fall, I took over 200 photos and since June, I've devoted my efforts to rendering their mystery and beauty.
If you visit my online art gallery by clicking on the thumbnail on the homepage, you will see that the first seven iris paintings are in cool hues. I'm still captivated by this flower, but I was ready for a different palette!
